Warning - last flies in stock!
The Gaula Howler was invented by Matt Hayes who put the fly through its paces at his lodge on the Gaula at Winsnes. It has proved to be deadly both early and late season and is a firm favourite of Matt's as well as having been used to good effevct by his friends and guests at Winsnes. Matt Hayes quotes " It works best when the water is clear. As the season progresses, I simply tie it smaller and a little sparser. I am covinced that the white polar bear underwing is essential to its success."
